Week 3
A week full of fun!
We have been very busy this week, finishing off today with our Comic Relief day.
Thank you so much for all of your kind donations towards our special day, especially for our eating challenge.
We all found it very entertaining when the teachers were chosen to eat cold beans, cold gravy and dry crackers!
Now lets talk about our learning...
In Maths we have been continuing with our measuring skills. We used tape measures to measure in centimeters, some of us had never seen a tape measure before! We realised that we could begin to measure different objects with a tape measure and talked about circumference.
In our writing we have been labelling the features of chronological reports, with a specific focus on generalisers and suffixes. We enjoyed using the highlighters to find the different features. This is preparing us for our 'box it up' plans next week!
We have also been looking at the meaning of friendship and how important it is to be kind, we are now ready to put these skills into practice!
