Written by 2 of our lovely Year 5 children.
In Year 5 this week we have been doing rounding and place value in MATHS, also in GUIDED READING we have been reading a fantastic book called, The Chronicles of Narnia (The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe). Some children in Year 5 have been doing Bikeability and have been learning about road safety whilst riding their bikes. In ENGLISH we have been learning about direct speech and we have watched a clip of the film The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and we wrote the speech of a scene in Narnia. In our TOPIC we were learning about life cycles, we have some new class pets, which were caterpillars but now they are butterflies and we are going to release them when they are done learning to fly!
