Week Two

The children have been very excited with all the different types of weather we have had this week. We kept our fingers crossed for a rainbow but unfortunately didn't see one. We have been keeping a close eye on our sunflowers and cress heads too...

And have been learning all about the story Oliver's Vegetables. The children have enjoyed retelling, sequencing and writing labels and narratives based on the text. Look at our super writing...

So many more children completed all of their Rainbow Challenges this week so a huge WELL DONE to the 21 Reception children and 7 Nursery children who managed to do them all! Also celebrating this week are our Stars of the Week:

Millie.A (Reception)

Lottie (Nursery)

And the children who have been awarded their Always badges are:

Alayna (Reception) and in Nursery:

Raine

Ralphi

Max. G

The 'bee hive' in the farm shop role play has really sparked the children's interest in bees. So, for our short week next week we will be immersing ourselves in the life of a honey bee.

See you Tuesday!
