Another week down. We've had to fit lots into our timetable this week.
In our English, we have started to write our persuasive letter to the Senhor to try and stop deforestation. The children have made a fantastic start and we can't wait to have some masterpieces to show the show next week.
This week in topic, we have looked at the process of pollination linking back to when we dissected the daffodil and then on Wednesday we looked at the life cycle of a frog through the process of metamorphosis.
We've had a busy week across the school, as on Tuesday we had the pancake flip competition (thank you to those who have sponsored the children) and World Book day on Thursday. There were some fantastic outfits and we spent the morning celebrating this day with an assembly, then the children went on a hunt to complete a world book day quiz they had. In the afternoon, they were visited by a mystery reader, who read them a book of their choice.
