The children have continued to impress us this week with all their hard work and a very positive attitude towards their learning.
In science this week we focused on the adaptation of the salt and pepper moth. The children read the story 'Moth' by Isabel Thomas. We had a discussion to explore the reasons the moth had to adapt in order to survive. The children created amazing storyboards to show their understanding. We then took this one step further by using our drawing techniques to create our own peppered moths. We explored patterns and texture before creating our final pieces of work. The children amazed me with their creativity!!
In PE, we continued to refine our gymnastics sequences. This included improving our teddy bear roll and including this in our sequence. The children showed their skills of communication and collaboration to put together their routine in pairs.
