Week 4

How is it Thursday already ?

This week our 4 pupils and 3 members of staff returned from cold and snowy Northern Sweden. They had lots of interesting stories about the Swedish school and all the amazing once in a lifetime experiences they had which included : Drilling through and fishing on a frozen lake, riding a snow mobile, meeting real life Elks and spending time having fun in the snow.

This week now we are all back together the hard work has continued. In maths we have moved onto working with decimals and are already showing that we are making excellent progress. In English we have been planning our 500 word story thinking about our writing targets and being really creative with our ideas.

In  science we had a special mission from Spy School where we had to infiltrate a burglar alarm requiring us to apply lots of knowledge we have gained during our previous electricity physics lessons. In geography we have looked at the advantages and disadvantages of large industrial cities on the economies of different countries.

In addition to above we have worked on our Spanish, developed our hockey and basketball skills during PE and discussed how to behave online - most notably Whatsapp during our PSHE lessons.

What a busy week !
