Our topic this half term is going to see us learning more about plants. The children will be extending their knowledge from year 1 and we will be looking at the process of a plant growing, life cycles and the link between humans and plants.
In our maths we are going to be learning about 2D and 3D shapes, fractions and measurement. We will also be continuing our times tables and in particular, focussing on our 2, 3, 5 and 10 times tables.
In our writing, we are going to write a setting description linking to our focus texts on Twisted Fairy Tales, a narrative and tackle some performance poetry linked to Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes.
