Week 4
We have had a busy week in Year 1. In Maths we have been finding the quarter of shapes and amounts - we did this by halving and then halving again. In writing we have been talking about instructions and soon we will be learning about 'bossy words'. Also, we have been on a plants walk, we found wild flowers, apple trees, cauliflower, planted onions, and strawberries! We have also had our class Sports Day, we working so hard and it was really fun. Finally during TGI Fridays we matched number sentences, hooked sounds to make words and played many teamwork games.
