End of half term update
Wow, I can not believe we are at the end of the first half term!
I am so proud of the children. The way they have adapted to year 3 has been absolutely amazing and I can not believe how much they have come on in a short space of time.
We have been working hard on times tables this half term - these are so important for all aspects of maths. We have been having a big push on reading this half term, and the expectations for children to read will also increase next half term. Reading opens up many doors for the children and is used in all aspects of learning.
On the last day it was a little bit different- year 6 were in charge! We had a brilliant morning. We played Benchball, created some arty volcanoes and made our own fossils!
Thank you for all your support this half term with the children's home learning. The theme will keep the same next half term too.
