We are nearly at the end of another busy week in year 6!

This week has seen rehearsals for our end of year production (Robin Hood and the Sherwood Hoodies) really take off!

We have been working on individual scenes and some of the acting  talent on display is amazing ! We have unearthed some real stars of the future !

In literacy we have become journalists and have been writing newspaper reports based on the arrest of the 3 little pigs. A video of the pigs being arrested can be viewed by clicking on the link below.

Sports day has been taking place across school this week with of course the year 6 children playing an integral role. They helped and supported the younger pupils on Wednesday and did the same whilst competing themselves on Thursday. The feedback from parents across school saying how supportive, encouraging and mature our year 6s are has made us all really proud!

Tomorrow we find out which team we have in our world cup class sweepstake. We wont just be cheering our team on in Russia, we will completing a research project about that country linked to our topic this term - 'Our World'.
