How is it nearly half term already ?
Year 6 are at the end of another great week of learning. In maths we have made great progress in working with decimals and in literacy continued to write, edit and publish our 500 word challenge. The range of writing genres is fantastic to see.
In Geography we used an Atlas to locate important areas of world including: deserts, rivers, oceans and mountain ranges. In Spanish we learned the names of different colours and added them to our ever increasing vocabulary banks. In PSHE we discussed at length the importance of looking after our own mental health and celebrated 'Child Mental Health Awareness Week' by talking about when we have been brave.
In PE we continued to develop our passing and movement skills through netball and on Friday afternoon took part in our final connected curriculum session for this rotation. Next week we will be moving to a new area.
