Week Four

We are so very proud of Year 4 this week!

This week we organised and took part in our charity event for Macmillan Cancer Support. We all worked so hard to make sure that everything was perfect. We created posters both by hand and digitally and put them up around school to grab people's attention and encourage them to bake and bring cakes and biscuits for us to sell! We also created table runners and decorated the hall. Some of us even went out onto Butterworth Lane to post leaflets to the local people.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who baked and sent in cakes for us, we couldn't have done it without you!

In the midst of all this we have also done lots of learning! In our Maths work we have been travelling back in time and using Roman Numerals.

In our writing we have focused on punctuation and adjectives for our published pieces of writing. In our Topic we have been taking part in a weekly 'Sticky Knowledge' quiz revising facts about the digestive system, food chains and teeth.

Anyway, please take a look below at the brilliant photographs of what we have been up to this week!
