The peace and quiet in school has ended and year 6 are back !
After working hard at home for the last 2 weeks self-isolating they have come back with a focused and hard working attitude this week.
In our writing we have been learning about the Manchester Blitz and have started to write a non-chronological report about this sad time in our cities history.
In maths we have tackled ordering both whole numbers and decimals. What really impressed the staff is the way year 6 always have a go despite finding something tricky. This makes it really easy to help and support them in making progress.
In our topic we have been learning about the start of world war 2. This will help us then when we focus on the impact of our local area.
In PE we have been developing our ability to work as a team especially using non-verbal communication.
