Week 3 updates by year 3!
We've had an absolutely fantastic week here in year 3!
In our writing we have been looking at Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes - we have been looking at similes and also had a go at coming up with our own interviews for our characters! The children came up with some brilliant questions and answers and even had the chance to perform these to a group too!
In our maths we have absolutely blown us away. The progress the children have made this week has been fantastic. We have been looking at related calculations and greater than and less than calculations - some of us were even using brackets!
In our topic work we had a little visitor - Gerald the skeleton!
We have been looking at the human skeleton and different types of skeletons too. The children were so engaged we had so much fun in this lesson!
