Week 3
This week we have been working hard on addition using number bonds and counting on. We have been working practically in Maths by using counters and cubes to help us. We were absolutely blown away to discover that if we can work out 4+2= 6 then we could easily work out that 14+2=16. In Literacy we have been writing messages on postcards to send to a cheeky penguin who left footprints in our classroom. We still need reminders about capital letters, full stops and finger spaces but we are getting there. In Topic we have been painting clay globes and continued to explore winter.
