Welcome to year 3 and thank you for having a look on this page. I hope you are excited as much as we are for the year ahead! Your children will be supported my myself for this year along with Miss Choudhary and Miss Hunt, who they are familiar with already.

All the documents for the year are below for you to have a look at and to know what we will be teaching in class. 

There are 6 subpages below for each half term, there you will find all of the weekly updates and some photos of our learning. These pages will be updated on a Friday and will include any information for homework expectations or reminders for the following week. Anything urgent will also be sent through text message. 

Key days and information 

• Monday afternoon the children will be doing connected curriculum. Over the year they will be covering 6 different areas such as Global Studies with Mrs Harris, Safer Me with Mrs Armour, Web Design with Mr Falkner, Gymastics with Mr Scott, Design and Technology with Miss Benbow and Art with Mrs Tierney 
• Tuesday afternoon - music session from Oldham Music Service 
• Wednesday PE day - if the children can please come to school in their outdoor kit with their indoor PE kit underneath to cut down changing times. If this is too much for your child with layers, then please bring their indoor PE kit in their bags.
