The Oldham Owls!
In year 2 we are beginning the Autumn term with a geographical focus on our hometown of Oldham.
We will be learning all about the human and physical features of Oldham, we will be comparing urban and rural areas and also recapping our Geography knowledge from year 1.
We will also be learning the names of the seven continents and five oceans in our stand-alone Geography sessions.
In our writing we will be completing a piece of work around the book the Bear and the Piano.
In our maths we will be focusing on our number knowledge and place value.
In our reading sessions we will be completing our reading through the texts in the Little Wandle scheme.
