Well what a start back we have had in year 3. We begun our final topic on Ancient Egypt and have enjoyed our first introduction into the subject looking at mummification. We learnt the process of mummification and learnt about why the Egyptians mummified the dead bodies.
On Monday, as part of our WOW starter, we linked our topic with our science afternoon and mummified tomatoes. We followed instructions very carefully and have set our mummied 'bodies' aside so we can observe the outcome over the half term.
This half term, we will continue with our daily times tables test and have spellings to if the children can practise these. We have seen a massive improvement in the children's confidence and learning and would like this to continue.
