What a great week this has been!!
We got off to a flying start with our reading into writing and our plans for the journey through the body story are well underway. The children have been magpies and came up with some great ideas to include dialogue and setting description in their writing. We can't wait to see the first draft next week!!
Our maths work has focused on place value and looking at 1000's, 100's, 10's and 1's. We have been using lots of practical resources to develop our understanding. We have some amazing problem solvers in our midst who really worked hard to work as team to solve some tricky reasoning problems.
The children have become experts in teeth as they continued with the burps, bottoms and bile topic and thought about how to care for their teeth. Watch out for the models we make next week!!
Our focus this week has been our behaviours for learning and how we can work as a team to have lots of fun and focus in our learning. We have worked really hard to improve this and now we have to keep trying our best. Quiet critters have been creeping around the classroom and our first jar is nearly full!!
The children are Dojo champions as they have been working hard to collect as many as possible. Lets see how many we can get as a class.
We would like to say a huge thank you to the children and all the parents and carers as we have had everyones homework handed in and what an amazing collection of work it was. The children have put such a lot of time and effort into their homework and should be very proud of themselves. Have a look to see how many Dojo's you have been given.
We hope you all have a lovely weekend and we will see you on Monday.
Mrs Bingham and Mr Webster.
