Week 7 updates

Well we made it to the end of our first term in year 3!

What a half term this has been - it has been super, super busy and the children have coped fantastically with the extra duties for all things Christmas.

This week the children have published their letters to Mr Walker, the director for Iceland thanking him for bringing to our attention the dangers deforestation is having on our world and animals. The children used such empathy with their writing and they really shone in their letters. They were able to bring some fantastic knowledge of rainforests from the whole of our topic.

We enjoyed out Christmas party with year 4 on Thursday afternoon. We went into the hall and played some party games as well as a Christmas quiz.

Last but not least, the music performance on Wednesday morning! I'm sure you'll all agree the children were absolutely fantastic. Mrs Housley has worked so hard with them since September and you could really see their efforts paying off. All the Key Stage 1 staff were blown away by how amazing they were.

Thank you all so very much for your fantastic support so far this year. Hope you have a fantastic Christmas and wishing you well for 2019.

Mrs Harris :)
