After slightly disruptive first few weeks for year 6 (having to self isolate for 2weeks) the pupils have come back into school with the enthusiasm they are renowned for. They have fully embraced our topic learning about how Manchester was impacted during world war 2 and some of the learning they have produced has been fantastic! Lots of children have gone above and beyond outside of school when finding out about this fascinating topic. Year 6 love to be challenged in maths and have worked hard to catch up on any learning they have missed in year 5 whilst learning new skills related to place value and number. In science they have enjoyed learning about evolution and the possible impact this has had on the human and animal race. Have a safe and fun half term, we can't wait to see you after the break!
