During parent's evening, quite a few parents asked me for extra homework to do alongside the Nando's.
Next half term, we will be having a huge focus on spelling. I will attach the common exception words from Year 1/2 which they should be able to spell so it might be worth looking at those first and I will also attach the Year 3/4 words which they are expected to know by the end of Year 4. I would practise these in groups of 5 but keep going over the ones already practised. I will also send home maths homework which gives examples of the maths we do in class.
Also, please help your child to tell the time both analogue and digital.
Times tables are still very important and Year 4 do need to have instant recall of any times table in completely random order.
