What another busy week it has been in year 2!
In our maths we have been working really hard on recognising all 2d and 3d shapes, we have been focusing on our maths vocabulary linked to shape and we have even been comparing different 2d and 3d shapes.
In our writing we have started to read and work on our new story "Toby and the Great Fire of London." We have been answering challenging questions in our guided reading sessions linked to this text and imagining what it would have been like to live in London during the Great Fire.
In our science sessions with Miss Morris we have been recognising the properties of different materials and how different materials can be used for different jobs and purposes.
A brilliant week year 2 well done!
