Today is Takeover Day for year 5. Takeover Day is when children in schools take over the jobs of adults in schools. The jobs include Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Caretakers, Business Managers, Cooks and many more! My name is Barry and my job for the day is to create this webpage all about Takeover Day at Whitegate End. The caretakers job is to keep the school safe and clean.The Business Manager checks dinner money and looks at the school finance. The reporter has been reporting on the days events.
   
Takeover Day gives children and young people a chance to work with adults for the day and be involved in decision-making.
