Shakespeare week
On Monday the 17th March saw Whitegate end start their writing week around the theme of The Tempest by William Shakespeare.
During this week the children have participated in a variety of activities, including looking at the storm scene at the beginning of the play and thinking of exciting words to describe a storm. We then we looked at the main events of play and created a timeline, as well as creating freeze frames of parts of the play for our classmates to identify. This all led up to a big writing session on Friday around The Tempest.
