At Whitegate End, we believe that every child deserves to feel seen, safe and inspired every single day. Our school is a place where learning is meaningful, curiosity is celebrated, and kindness is at the heart of all we do.
We are proud to serve a vibrant and diverse community in South Chadderton, and we work closely with families to nurture children who are confident, resilient, and ready to take their next steps in the world. Our dedicated staff go above and beyond to provide high-quality teaching, thoughtful care and an enriching curriculum that supports both academic success and personal growth.
"Mrs Lomas and Mrs Addyman have been incredible with our son this year. He received some terrible news in December, just before Christmas, and both teachers worked so hard to help him cope with the change and his grief.
They made a very difficult time that bit easier and we will be forever grateful.
Thank you, you are fantastic teachers.
“ We want to Thank Mr Faulkner in year 5. S has really come on this year and we have seen such an improvement in his learning and confidence overall. Mr Faulkner explains things in a way the children will understand and makes lessons fun. The children don’t even realise how much they are taking in because they are enjoying his lessons so much. S will often come home and tell us everything he has learned and you can see with how he is explaining what he has learned with such passion that he has enjoyed learning about that subject.
S has really enjoyed learning about history and has even taught me and his dad things we didn’t know because he’s been so engaged in the lesson.
One of the biggest improvements we have seen in S this year is his confidence and we truly believe that is from the time, effort and support he has been given by Mr Faulkner. We are a family that takes an interest in our children’s learning and at the start of the year S told us he was struggling with Maths, one conversation with Mr Faulkner and we at home as well as Mr Faulkner in class were able to give him the right support, which has paid off as we have seen his Maths scores and understanding go from strength to strength each week.
Mr Faulkner recognises when children are putting in the effort and he celebrates all his classes successes. He is very approachable and you get this feeling that when you go to him with anything or a concern, he’s actually listening and will follow up on what he says. Thank you for making S’s year 5 experience amazing, we hope H will be lucky enough to have you as a teacher at some point in her primary school experience.”
