Week 3 is nearly at an end!
We have been working hard with our writing this week and are motoring on at pace . We have been thinking hard about making our writing have quality and flair by including fantastic expanded noun phrases and tricky adverbial phrases. We have also been trying to master a technique called 'show not tell' which has really improved the way we describe actions and feelings.
In Maths this week we have been showing amazing resilience in tackling the tricky technique of rounding. We have been tackling big numbers up to one million. Progress has been great throughout the week.
In our topic this week we have been carrying out our own independent research about the key events that occurred during World War 2.
We have been developing our Spanish speaking skills and improving our gymnastics and cricket in PE.
In science we have been continuing to learn about evolution around the subject of bird's beaks. We are aiming to develop our enquiry skills through doing this.
