Week 5

This week we have been really busy learning new things in EYFS. We have enjoyed using split pins and a variety of materials to make helicopters.

We have been writing letters and posting them using a stamp on the front of the envelope. Outside we have participated in a nature hunt, looking for all types of creatures. Using the large abacus we have been matching numbers to the correct quantity.  We have painted bugs in the creative area.

Today we felt sad saying goodbye to the chicks. The chicks have been taken to a farm. When the lady picked them up said she was very proud of us for looking after the chicks so well!

Thank you to those people who attended the family learning workshop in nursery. It was great to see you all and hope you enjoyed your visit.

We have done really well this half term with challenges so can we continue to have a big push for the final half term.

Remember that everyone(that hasn't yet got one) needs to keep aiming for that Always badge!

Hope everybody has a lovely half term and we look forward to seeing you all when you come back!
