Week 3

We had a very exciting week this week.

Not only did we have some snowfall (!), but we also had our themed French day on Thursday!

The children from year 3 and 4 took part in lots of activities, including researching the French flag, identifying the main cities and landmarks in France, ordering from our very own café for food and treats. Hopefully the children had a fantastic day - they looked like they certainly did!

We have also been looking at the 3 and 4 times tables in our maths, focussing on multiplication and division facts for these too. The children have absolutely loved being on sumdog. It is part of their homework so the children are expected to go on it throughout the week. It does help with their mental maths as well as securing their maths skills. Competitions will be set on a Wednesday until the following Monday.

In our Science this week, we have been looking at forces and magnets, looking what a force is and where we see forces around.

Have a look at some of the photos from our French day!

Have a lovely weekend!
