Year 4 have met up with Greenhill Primary for the second time. This time we visited Gallery Oldham to participate in a workshop based on their current exhibition of Bengali Story Scrolls. The children worked in pairs to create a panel, based on their daily routine, to put together into a story scroll of our own.
The children viewed the scrolls created in both India and Oldham and some of the scrolls created by Oldham school children will be displayed at the gllery throughout June 2011. (Click here to view the Gallery Oldham website)
The children had a fabulous morning and enjoyed meeting up with their new friends from Greenhill again and are looking forward to our next activity together.
