I have seen some impressive writing this week. We have watched snatches of the short film 'The Dreamgiver' and have absolutely loved it. Some children couldn't wait to see the end and watched it at home. It has certainly inspired some amazing writing. We are ready to edit and improve our work to produce our final draft and published piece.
Lots more times table practise , investigations and new games. We have done lots of work on the 6 times table and have now moved onto our 4 and 8 times tables. We have investigated the links between the 2,4 and 8 times tables.
Please practise 4 and 8 times tables this week.
In topic work we have used maps and atlases and looked at the location of Manchester. We have used i-pads to the find out about the iconic buildings in Manchester - including the history, past and current use of buildings.
If you are passing Year 4, you might be treated to the sounds of us practising our Christmas songs.... yes we are getting to that time of year again!
