WOW what a week we have had, it may have been a short one but we have certainly fit lots in!
On Tuesday we were welcomed by Miss Benbow and Miss Hunt into Year One. We thought how could we learn to navigate ourselves around this new building?! When we arrived into class we had a letter waiting for us. It was from a teddy bear called Eddy, he asked us to go on a special detective mission. He explained to us that over the holidays he had lost some of his friends around school. That was it! We had to help him find his friends. We put on our detective goggles and off we went! We read the clues that took us to different areas of school and managed to rescue all of Eddy's friends. After that we were exhausted, but we persevered and carried on! And now we have made it to Friday, let's check out some of the other goings on in Year One this week....
In our Maths work we have been working on counting on and back to 100 and counting objects to 20 in order, we have been working using a carousel so we have been doing lots of different activities to help us to consolidate our knowledge.
