Week 3
This week has been a special one because it has been Antibullying week. We have been focusing on how to be kind. We took part by wearing odd socks, attending an online class to learn more, exploring different ways to manage our feelings and we created a big poster to share in our Antibullying week assembly. In Maths we have been using our knowledge of the part-whole model to work out both addition and subtraction number sentences. In Writing we have added captions and adjectives to our story maps of Jack and the Beanstalk and in Topic we have been learning about the Queen's family tree. On Friday it was Children in Need and all of the children looked fabulous in yellow. We took part in a number of activities to bring awareness to this special date and we had juice and toast for snack to raise money (which was a big hit).
