Welcome back everyone! We hope you had a lovely break with your loved ones and wish you lots of luck and happiness for this new year.
Our first topic back this half term is going to be SOLID AS A ROCK. We will be exploring all about the Stone Age to Iron Age and looking at how people lived throughout theses times.
We are going to be working hard in our maths, securing our 3,4 and 8 times tables as well as multiplication and division, addition and subtraction in our maths learning. As last half term we focussed on our number skills, this should have a huge impact on the speed in which the children are able to recall their number facts.
Our Science work this half term is going to be forces and magnets. We will be looking at what a force is, as well as investigating how different materials travel on different surfaces.
In our writing this half term, we are going to be looking at speech. We will be publishing a diary entry as well as looking to at a character description also.
