A short week this week but did more work on statistics (graphs and charts ) in maths and work on our writing which involved watching the first part of a film clip. The children were super excited to see the rest of the clip and I am sure will produce some fantastic story writing themselves later on.
I mentioned the Times Table check which Year 4 pupils complete in June. Well this week, we were able to do a practice run. We used i-pads, logged in and were all given 25 times table questions. They were given 6 seconds to answer, which isn't much time and doesn't give chance to count up on fingers. The children didn't get their scores but from what I could see, a lot of them did very well. Please keep practising, especially 7,8,9, and 12s.
