On Thursday 23rd June, Liam from The Royal Exchange came to do a Drama Workshop with Year 1. He worked with us ALL day and we did lots of different activities all linked to our topic of Under The Sea.
We pretended to be artists and made sea-creature models out of our 'clay' partners. We got into groups and made ourselves into different shapes. Then the whole class made themself into a HUGE sea monster!
We lay down with our eyes shut and listened as Liam told us a story about finding underwater caves. Next Liam made everyone their own cave out of tape and we decided what it looked like and what we could do in our cave.
We had a really great day and all the exciting things we did gave us some fantastic ideas for stories!
