Week 1 updates here...
Well what a first week back it has been!
On Monday we began our new topic with dissecting some carnations as part of our Green Fingers topic. We were able to dissect the flower into parts and identify the stem, roots, sepal, leaves, carpel and stamen and describe what functions each part did. The children were absolutely brilliant!
In maths we have started our work on time and the children are looking at extending their own knowledge to tell the time using 5 minute intervals as well as using duration times.
On Friday, we had our final meeting with Buckstones as part of the Linking Project. The children took part in some drama activities. We had a brilliant time!
