This week in school has been very exciting for Year One
In Literacy we have been looking at how to use capital letters and full stops correctly in our writing.
In Maths we have been working further on place value, practicing our 2, 5 and 10 times tables and writing numbers in words.
On Thursday it was World Book day we did things a bit differently this year, we worked in a carousel with Year Two with 5 different activities. We focused on an alternative story to the Three Little Pigs called Three Little Superpigs
Take a look....
Mr Butterworth- clay pig models
Miss Akhtar- If you had a superpower, what would it be and why?
Miss Panchani- Designing our own pig biscuits
Miss Benbow- Drama-acting out the story
Mrs Armour- Text mapping the story.
