Happy new year and welcome back Year 5's!
We've got a great half term coming up...
Our Hairy Hooligans topic is all about the Vikings and Anglo-Saxons! Our class book is 'Viking Boy' by Tony Bradman, which is a fantastic book about Gunnar, a 15 year old Viking, filled with battles and murderous raiders!
In writing we will be focusing on narratives, and we will have the opportunity to share our narratives with our lovely year 1's once we have finished. We can't wait to see what we produce!
In maths, we will be looking at multiplication, division and fractions.
Our PE days continue to be Tuesday (swimming) and Wednesday (games).
