Week 3
It was lovely to see the children all lined up in their uniform, ready to come into school on Monday (after so long of seeing them in their pyjamas on Seesaw!! 
) We have had a lovely week catching up and the children have settled back in so well.
We have loved exploring our new class text The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse. We focused on the following extracts and the children grasped a deep understanding of what they mean and how it relates to us:
"What do you want to be when you grow up?" "Kind" said the boy.
"I'm so small" said the Mole. "Yes" said the boy, "but you make a big difference'
"Isn't it odd. We can only see our outsides, but nearly everything happens on the inside"
We encouraged the children to be Explorosaurus' this week and get stuck into all of the areas and resources available to them. We have nurtured old friendships and promoted the children's independence skills. It was lovely to see how much of the home learning had been embedded and how you have helped your children to make progress - well done!
