Week 2
Another brilliant week with lots of hard work this week!
In our Maths work we started fractions. This was a little bit challenging at first because the children missed out on fractions in Year 3. The children were very resilient and worked so hard. Next week we are going to be looking at finding fractions of amounts using pictoral representations and bar models. We have been so impressed with the start of our writing this week, we become robot creators! We were astounded by some of the creations!! We had cleaning robots, football training robots, hair dresser robots- the lot! We also talked about adverts and how advertisers sell items to people and the techniques that are used. Next week we are going to be focusing some more on this and looking at the different features of advertisements and how we could use these for our robots.
This week the children have been given spellings to practice that will be tested on Friday 7th May.
