What another fantastic week we have had in year 6. We can't believe we are halfway through the Autumn term already !
bkjThis week in maths we have been bravely tackling division. We have showed a great deal of resilience answering some tricky challenges but the hard work has clearly paid off.
In literacy we have been creating some fantastic setting descriptions describing a scene from the book Rose Blanche. The creative way the children have done this have really brought the scene to life.
Mrs Robinson-Nelson has started teaching evolution and inheritance in Science and the children have been asking a range of questions relating to this fascinating topic.
Finally we have been looking at what life was like for women on the home front during world war 1.
