Week 2
This week we had a very exciting week!
We started the week with our WOW starter. We were given a map of the school grounds and had to use it to find clues that were hidden all around. Some of these were quite tricky, but the children absolutely loved being outside! We then discussed what was hard about using the map and we agreed it was because it was from an aerial view, and not how we see school ourselves from the ground. We then learnt about the 8 points of a compass and got to use some in class too.
In our writing this week we explored a Waggoll of a letter. We are going to be writing our own letters this half term so we had a loon at 'what a good one looks like' (wagoll) and picked out its features.
