What an amazing first week back we have had!
This week in our writing we have been completing different pieces of work based on our story The Colour Monster. We have linked our own emotions to this book and we can now understand how the colour monster might feel.
In our maths we have been using our place value knowledge and recognising how different digits hold a different value. We have also been learning how to draw our tens and ones and linking these to numbers.
We have been playing whole class phonics games such as Obb and Bob and we have been learning how to use our continuous provision area.
All of the adults who work with year 2 are really happy with the children and how they have settled so well back in to school life. They have followed the new rules and procedures well and have not let this impact upon their learning.
Well done year 2 a super first week back!
