What a beautiful start to the half term we had!
The beginning of the week was absolutely gorgeous and it allowed us to be outside for the whole day on Monday which was fantastic!
Our wow starter was brilliant, we went on our very own treasure hunt around the school finding the blue cars and following an aerial map of school. The children worked brilliantly together, having to navigate their way around a map independently and finding the clues as well as working together fantastically. Our focus this half term is going to be geography around the UK and we started looking at the countries that make up the UK, looking more closely at the cities. We even discussed what makes a city a city, and found the biggest cathedral in the UK was Liverpool Anglican!
In our maths learning this week, we began by comparing calculations using <,> and =. The children have really impressed me by how hard they have worked on these already. We have been challenged so much in our maths, but everyone has done it with such determination!
In our writing this week, our focus has been publishing the 500 words!
Have a look at some of the photos from this week below, have a lovely weekend!
