This week we have been learning about the homes Stone Age people lived in. We learnt that the early Stone Age communities lived in caves and that some caves were used for different purposes such as, living or worship. We learnt that later they started to live in hand-made huts made from wood and animal skins. We found out that these homes were temporary places. We concluded that the Stone Age communities moved a lot. This is because of farming and hunting animals. People lived of the land so they needed to move when the climate changed, so when it got cold the people moved to warmer places so they could grow crops. And because they moved there is not much evidence of how they lived till much later during the Neolithic age (Late Stone Age)..... Now isn't that interesting?!
