The children have made us SO proud this week!
We have made our final, finishing touches to our Christmas Performance and are so ready to show you all their hard work. We can't believe the hard work they have shown, determination at learning their dance routines and lines, throwing themselves out of their comfort zones to really challenge and stretch themselves, it has been incredible watching them.
In our writing, we began looking at diary entries. I shared one of my diary entries from the day before and the children had a go. We are going to be looking at writing our own entries and linking it with our video of the Bear and the Hare.
On Thursday, our final group went over to Ashgrove House. The children have absolutely loved their visits over to the residents and have represented the school fantastically. They have been chuffed to bits to receive notes from their pen pals and are already excited to go back over to sing Christmas Carols!
There is going to be no homework and spellings next week as the children will hopefully be worn out from all of our performances!
