It has been a great week for year 3 this week.
In our writing we have completed carrying out our research of the city of our choice. We have been surprised by the findings we have made too. We will be getting ready now to start transferring our information into a leaflet to share with our peers!
In our maths we have been extending our knowledge on fractions. We have been beginning to find fractions of equivalents of a half and next week we will be looking at equivalent fractions for a third and a quarter.
Our Science this week has been very exciting - we carried out our own fair test to investigate the questions ' Does the size of the shadow depend on the distance of the light source?' It was very interesting finding out!
Thank you so much to all the parents for their hard work on practising the times tables! We have our times tables practise on a Friday and already we have seen a huge difference in the progress the children are making so a great big thank you!
Hope you have a lovely weekend
