Summer
How is it the start of the summer term already (you wouldn't know it with this weather)?
This term we are focusing on Science most notably space. We will be exploring how space has had an impact on Greater Manchester including the function of Jodrell Bank and how Bernard Lovell changed the course of history.
We will also be learning lots about the moon and solar system - making our own version using fruit. We will be using the text 'Man on the moon' to find out how to become an astronaut.
We will be looking at how a telescope works and also how life would be different if we lived on the moon compared to Earth.
We will of course have many more opportunities to explore further as the topic progresses.
