We have had another super week in year 2.
This week we have been learning all about the seven different continents and recognising them from largest to smallest.
We have also been learning about the 5 oceans and we now know that 70% of the Earth is made up of water!
In our writing work we have been focusing on the key features of a story such as; the characters, the setting and also the plot. We have linked this information to our Poles Apart class book and can identify these features in this story.
In our maths work we have really been practising our 2x, 3x, 5x and 10x tables and trying to recognsing these facts out of their normal order.
We have been working hard on identifying our real words and our fake words, using Obb and Bob to help us.
We took part in Remembrance Day activities and placed our Poppies in Whitegate End's Remembrance Garden.
We have also taken part in Children in Need day and taken part in a variety of Pudsey actvities.
Well done again Year 2 for another lovely week.
